Florentine potatoes recipe and books

So you would like to know how to make Florentine potatoes recipe! It is not hard, follow the steps below and enjoy your own creation. Check our books section as well!

450g spinach washed and picked over
3 anchovy fillets soaked drained and chopped
40g grated Gouda cheese
salt pepper grated nutmeg
1 kg potatoes boiled in their skins skinned and sliced
400ml pint soured cream

Cook the spinach until tender in no other water except that which clings to the leaves.
Drain and chop.
Mix the anchovy fillets and grated cheese with the spinach.
Season with salt pepper and grated nutmeg.
Grease an ovenproof dish with butter and put the spinach mixture into the dish.
Place the potatoes on top.
Season again with salt.
Beat up the soured cream and pour it over the potatoes.
Bake at 200C/400F/gas 6 for 20 minutes.
